Terms of Service

Overview

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Rechroma, a color workflow product operated by Elio LLC. By creating an account, signing in, using Rechroma, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Accounts and Access

You are responsible for the activity that happens through your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. You may not share access in a way that avoids account, workspace, invite, or billing limits.

Rechroma may offer beta features, trials, promotional access, or other limited programs. We may approve, deny, limit, or revoke access to those programs at our discretion.

Your Content

You keep ownership of palettes, color systems, labels, project data, images, and other content you submit to Rechroma. You grant us permission to host, process, display, transmit, and back up that content as needed to provide and improve the service.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights needed to upload or use any content you submit, including images or design files used for palette extraction.

Rechroma Materials

Rechroma, including its software, interface, color tools, generated color name data, documentation, branding, and other service materials, is owned by Elio LLC or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Rechroma as provided through the service.

Acceptable Use

You may not misuse Rechroma, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, scrape or bulk extract data except through product features we provide, reverse engineer non-public parts of the service, upload unlawful or infringing content, or use Rechroma to harm another person or system.

Subscriptions and Billing

Rechroma Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. Prices, billing intervals, taxes, and other charges are shown at checkout before you pay.

You can manage or cancel a Stripe-managed subscription through the billing portal available in Rechroma. Cancellation stops future renewals, but does not automatically refund charges already paid unless required by law or expressly stated by us.

Rechroma Pro Trial

Eligible workspaces may start one seven-day Rechroma Pro trial. No payment method is required, the trial does not renew automatically, and you will not be charged when it ends.

When the trial expires, Pro features return to the Free plan. Palettes and other saved work are retained, but paid features may remain unavailable until you subscribe. If you voluntarily start a paid subscription before the trial ends, Stripe charges the price shown at checkout immediately and unused trial time is not credited.

Early-Bird Pricing

Early-bird pricing is available for new Rechroma Pro subscriptions started on or before December 31, 2026. Early-bird pricing is $5 per month or $50 per year, depending on the billing interval selected at checkout.

Existing early-bird subscribers keep that early-bird price while the subscription remains active and in good standing. If an early-bird subscription is canceled, expires, becomes unpaid, or is otherwise not kept active and in good standing, future subscriptions may be charged at then-current pricing.

Third-Party Services

Rechroma may integrate with third-party services such as Stripe, authentication providers, hosting providers, email providers, and design tools. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Integrations

Rechroma integrations may require a paid plan or an active workspace entitlement. The Rechroma Figma plugin can create or update local color variables in your Figma file when you choose to sync a palette or Color Kit.

You are responsible for your use of third-party tools and for any content, files, or workspaces you connect to Rechroma integrations.

Service Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Rechroma over time. We may also update these terms. If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will provide notice by updating the effective date, posting in the product, or using another reasonable method.

Disclaimers

Rechroma is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every particular purpose. Color output can vary across displays, devices, color profiles, materials, and production environments.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elio LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of Rechroma.

Termination

You may stop using Rechroma at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or use Rechroma in a way that may cause legal or operational harm.
