Rechroma is operated by Elio LLC. We collect only the information needed to operate the product, communicate with users, and protect the service from abuse.

Information We Collect

If you subscribe to the mailing list, we collect your email address and subscription preferences. If you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message.

If you sign in, we collect account information such as your email address, session information, and related organization membership records. If you use the app, we store the palettes, color systems, and related project data you create.

We may also collect limited technical information, such as IP address, user-agent, session identifiers, and request metadata, to operate the service, maintain security, rate limit subscription attempts, and prevent abuse.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to provide Rechroma, send login and product emails, manage access, save your work, improve reliability, and protect the service.

Integrations

Rechroma may offer third-party integrations, including the Rechroma Figma plugin. If you connect the Figma plugin, Rechroma uses a device-code authorization flow and stores hashed authorization and integration token records.

When you request a sync, Rechroma sends the plugin only the palette or Color Kit data needed for that sync, such as palette names, color values, labels, token names, and related metadata. The plugin stores an integration token and variable mapping in Figma plugin storage.

The Rechroma Figma plugin creates or updates local Figma variables in your Figma file. It does not modify existing layers. Your use of Rechroma inside Figma is also subject to Figma's terms and privacy policy.

Marketing and Product Updates

If you subscribe to the mailing list, we may use your email address to send development updates, feature announcements, and related product messages. You can unsubscribe at any time.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed with service providers that help us operate Rechroma, including infrastructure, database hosting, authentication, email delivery, reliability monitoring, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.

Cookies and Local Storage

Rechroma uses cookies or similar storage for authentication sessions. The app may use local storage for interface preferences, such as color input format.

Your Choices and Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You may also ask us to close your account or remove your email address from the mailing list.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve issues, and meet legal or operational requirements.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Users

Rechroma is operated from the United States. If you use Rechroma from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Children

Rechroma is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
